Ed's House

This project featured the installation of a custom labyrinth garden bed, complete with Cleanline commercial-grade black aluminum edging and thoughtfully designed aggregate pathway improvements.

All plantings were provided by Ed’s House and planted by dedicated volunteers.

To achieve an accurate and well-proportioned layout, we used ropes, flags, and marking paint to map out the design prior to installation.

Bin-it, a long time local company, generously donated the use of their bin.

Ed’s House and Primal Patch worked carefully in partnership to spray line work prior to installation. These markings illustrate a bench bump out location.

Pathways and bench bump outs were given alterations to accommodate the new labyrinth.

Plantings were purchased by Ed’s House through Baltimore Valley Nursery and planted by dedicated volunteers.

The use of flags during the layout phase helps us plan path and garden width along with the gardens curvatures.

Bird’s Foot Design Studio created thoughtful and comprehensive plans for the Ed’s House landscape.
